Ben Williams is the owner of Fishdog Outdoors. He has been an outdoor guide for over thirty years. He spent 30 successful years fishing on the professional bass circuits in the west. He has guided for waterfowl for 20 years. Ben is a former California state Spec calling champion and now a judge annually at the contest. He is an outdoor writer for both local and national fishing and hunting publications and gives seminars on techniques he has developed for Whitefront Goose hunting. The methods Ben has developed are employed by all of his Spec guides.
Where do we begin to profile this fine young man. Carson is more than a guide. He is involved in every aspect of operations at Fishdog Outdoors. From dog training to decoy spreads to shovel work, Carson is Ben’s right hand man. He apprenticed under Ben for five years before becoming a full time guide.
In the arenas of Speck hunting and fishing he has few peers. Here are just a few of his accomplishments. Waterfowl:
Two time California State Spec calling champion. Finished in the top two four out of four years.
Bass fishing: Fishing is in Carson’s blood. Son of nationally known Bass Angler Brett Leber, here are just a few of his accomplishments:
Four time FLW Collegiate National Championship Qualifier. Two time Bassmasters Collegiate National Championship Qualifier. FLW Western Conference Champion. Bassmasters State Qualifier Champion.
